With about a month to go before Baby Girl Lee is set to make her grand entrance into the world, Nancy and I decided to have a little fun with the countdown. We have set up a pool for where family and friends can place bets/donations on when this little munchkin will arrive! The concept is simple: 1. Pick a date/time (or several) and make a corresponding donation for each selection. 2. Each bet/donation should be $10, meaning that if you select two different dates, you would donate a total of $20 (or $10 per date). 3. Winner will receive HALF of the total pot. As far as the other half? We will be donating that portion to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s South Carolina Chapter, in honor/memorial of a sweet 10-year old who battled leukemia, but sadly, passed away last week. While our hearts are still heavy for our dear friends and the devastating loss of Eliza Cait, we are grateful to the family for allowing us this opportunity to share her loving spirit and legacy in a positive way. <3 As a sweetener, we will MATCH whatever portion goes toward leukemia research with our own money, doubling the overall contribution (up to $500). And of course, if no one wins, the entire sum will be donated. So, bet EARLY and OFTEN! Every donation you make increases the total amount of money you could win, as well as the amount of money going towards a very worthy cause. Let the games begin!!!
