Eddie and Autumn have decided to hold out on gender reveal until delivery…and they are giving you the opportunity to bank on your best guess. How does it work? You bet on gender, weight, delivery date and time. The winner will be announced at delivery, along with the details of course.
The top winner will get 50% of the donations! The rest will go toward diapers…
While we set a $20 suggested donation amount. We can’t lock the donation amount so feel free to play with what ever you feel comfortable with. Multiple guesses are allowed, but each time you have to increase your donation from previous.
Currently we have no baby shower planned and thought this would be a fun way to get everyone involved!
Good Luck!
Fun facts:
** Ansley and Ava were born early and weighed 6 lbs 6 oz and 6 lbs 14 oz.
** Eddie doesn’t care what the gender is, but is in fear for everyone if it is a girl.
**Autumn wants a boy…but has this girl thing down pat.
**Everyone has been super excited.
**Autumn has had two feelings since finding out, completely exhausted and nauseous. (update at 20 weeks: She is full of energy and reorganizing the house…she has a full round belly)
**The baby’s heart beat was 111 at 6 weeks and 170 at 8 weeks and 142 at 20 weeks.
**The Midpoint 20 week ultrasound showed the baby in the 55th percentile for weight…and everything looked perfectly normal.
** Baby will be delivered via c-section.
**Autumn and Eddie will be just as surprised as you are….they really do NOT know the gender either.
Status Updates:
UPDATE: Baby is still incubating and Mom and Dad are well... but we did have a little scare last week and spent two days in Labor and Delivery at hospital. Baby got a double dose of steroids for lung development and mom got a magnesium drip to stop contractions. C-section has been scheduled for April 15th at 5:30 a.m but baby looks like he/she wants to make an early appearance.
Baby is in head down position. 60% effaced. Barely dilated. Contractions are currently NOT causing any change in cervix, but with two prior c-sections and a myomectomy the pregnancy is considered high risk. The doctors will deliver immediately if it looks like the cervix is dilating.
Mom is NOT on bedrest but is being told to get as much pampering as possible. Dad is doing a great job making sure she "takes it easy".
May want to bump up your due date guesses. This baby is not going to wait until due date!

Ok. So I am changing my guess. This baby is NOT going to wait until April. And I no longer think it is a girl. The whole dream of working out and walking to hospital may be a stretch. I think we are going to be on take it easy street with daily contractions for the next month.... But... this is out of our control, so we will do what we can to keep baby comfy and pray for a safe and extended delivery.

I think I am going to be working out at the gym around noon on Friday April 3rd and some full on contractions will hit. We will walk to the hospital across the street where they will immediately prep me for surgery. Baby will be a girl with curly locks like her daddy. She's coming early... ready to meet the world. She will be small but super healthy and delivery will be a breeze. :)
