Your body at 6 weeks
It isn’t just in the movies taht pregnant woman are running to the bathroom often. It is caused by an increase of blood flow to your pelvic area as well as your kidneys are becoming more efficient at ridding your body of waste. That plus adding the pressure your uterus is putting on your bladder makes up the perfect combination of having to go!
The chances of you getting through pregnancy without heartburn are very slim. This is because your body is starting to relax in preparation for a growing belly. This in turn relaxes the muscle at the top of the stomach that usually prevents digestive juices from backing up which leads to that burning sensation.
